a new feature to the blog: me profiling something i want really, really, really, really bad(ly) on wednesdays.

today i'm lusting after hermione's gray knit hat from "harry potter and the order of the phoenix." considering i am just now learning how to do the purl stitch - and this hat is significantly more complicated - it will be a while. and also probably a mess. whatevs.

this is how fucked up indiana is: our governor just signed into law a bill that allows people bring their guns to work if they leave them in their cars and lock their doors.

these things are apparently coming back into style. puke.

new obsession

my grandma jojo taught me how to knit a while ago, and thankfully like riding a bike it all came back to me. right now i'm making leg warmers...or if i mess up too badly, a very, very thick scarf.

next is a matching hat for winter - though apparently you have to use five needles to knit in a circle. scary.
